Frequently asked questions
Does the app send tracking numbers to customers?
The app writes the tracking number to the Shopify order. It can also trigger Shopify’s shipping notifications; whether the tracking number appears depends on your Shopify notification templates.
Can I create multiple parcels per shipment?
Yes, for DPD UK you can create more parcels for a shipment. Availability depends on each country’s DPD API capabilities.
Can I use pickup points / ParcelShop delivery?
Where supported by the country API, you can use the Pickup Points configuration in the options page to create shipments for delivery to DPD Pickup Points (Ship 2 Shop).
Does it show delivery status?
Yes. The app checks the delivery status periodically and updates Shopify. You can see status in the order details, the Shipment List, and the Quick status view (mobile-friendly).
Can I automate fulfillment but only for specific orders?
Yes. Premium plan and above includes Automatic filtering rules, so only orders matching your filters (tags, value, country, shipping method, etc.) get fulfilled automatically.
What about customs information for shipping internationally?
Customs-related fields can be configured per country (for example UK export EORI fields and Ireland export fields like Incoterms). See the country options pages for details.
